My latest tests – simple Node-Red code to check the ESP-GO updates as of this morning (v2.4.01) to quickly return temperature/humidity etc. after reboot and before sleeping. With static IP I have it down to around 3 seconds including the return MQTT confirmation. Unit can sleep up to 71 minutes.

Pete, you’re doing a terrific job in every aspect. Maybe Google stil doesn’t catch up with the new branding. Their fault !
You jumped to a new version 2.4.xx. Does it mean you added new features?
you read it wrong…
I’ve been doing some work on deep sleep.
oh, sorry both, i know about deep sleep, but i thought the version at beginning of this article (v2.0.41) was right, didn’t check on bitbucket… my bad
What’s in a name?
ESP-GO? I can’t find anything on Google like that
In that case clearly I’m doing a poor promotion job. The software will soon have its own site once I get certificates sorted, meanwhile you’ll find lots on the subject in the blog here and the software is stored on Bitbucket in its own repository. Check out Home Control 2018 and in there you’ll find all the info.
