Some of you will recall that last year I wrote about the excellent ZeroPlus Logic Cube PC-based logic analyser – part of their LAP-C series. To make life easy, here’s the original article – https://tech.scargill.net/zeroplus-logic-cube/
The Logic Cube is a great all round logic analyser in a handy case and now is now also an oscilloscope thanks to the DSO module which comes complete with the needed connectors and a pair of quality scope leads as well as instructions in a handy box.
The twin-channel DSO has sampling up to 100Mhz, but bear in mind that the actual analog signals you can measure will be a fraction of that.
The Logic Cube itself is not a new design, indeed the box refers to “new version” as 2009 and states that the unit is compatible with Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/VISTA so that DEFINITELY needs updating, however I tested everything on my Windows 10 64 bit PC without issue and the info on the box is the only age giveaway. Certainly the software looks up to date.
Instructions come in Chinese and (good) English.
There is not much technical info. What ADC they use, and how about analog signal bandwidth. Can You provide at least pictures or scans from both sides of PCB? That we can look and figure it out by ourselves?
I have too many other things to write up and too little time right now to do a tear down or open up the DSO. I will do more this summer.. Check with Olivia Cheng or The Debug Store if you are in a hurry. Tel: +44 1490 430526 Free tel: 0800 808 7456 Web: http://www.thedebugstore.com

Hello, can You provide more technical details. Teardown some tech insights or some high resolution pictures and internals of this DSO module. Please? 🙂
Right now I am pushed for time so you won’t see more on the DSO from me for a while however their website will also have technical info.
What probe model is this?
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your suggestion. Actually, our software is compatible with win10/win8 as well.
We’ll update our box in complete new design soon.
